Exploring the Air, Land, & Sea
Since graduating in 2020, I've been learning to putz around the clouds, race the seas* (*calm estuaries), skip down streets, backpack the backcountry, and fall down snowy cliffs. I can't seem to stop trying new ways of traversing our world. For me, struggling through new modes of movement broaden my perspectives, rekindle my connection to our past, and inflict arduous reflection on the costs and rewards of striving forward.
Creative Practice
Creative technology becoming my full-time job is my dream come true and a privilege that I am grateful for every day that I wake up and get practice it. Taking my life-long passion full-time also meant a need to seek new, un-exhausted outlets of self-expression, creation, and exploration. I'm still on that journey, but so far, I've found that a learner's mindset and a firm resolve to carry on can make anything possible eventually.
Gathering like we mean it...
Serving up elaborate dishes is my way of gathering my people together and thanking them for the joy and perspective they bring into my life. Recently, I've been taking my goofing up a notch, contributing to my good friend Anand Uppender's pop-up restaurants and coffee shops, selling breads, culturally nostalgic noshes, and serving smiles for the benefit of our local SF Mission community.
